The act of forgetting is a common experience that can be troublesome for people. Memory is the capability of the mind to store and remember information. Most of us suffer from Memory failure from time to time, especially when life is too busy.  1- Focus on Imagination:

Imagination rules the world. Imagination and memory are strongly connected. Imagination encircles the world, the more you imagine, the more you remember. If I ask you to share some of your memories. First, you imagine that experience in the brain, then you can easily able to tell that experience you have remembered through imagining the things. As much as you will use human senses during imagination, you’ll be more able to remember. The more of your senses you can connect to the memory, the deeper ingrained it can go into your long-term memory.

Association is all about the things that are connected. It’s one of the best ways to learn things faster and easier. Because the human brain remembers things easily when it has a connection to each other or association. When you want to memorize something, you can associate it with something that is fixed in memory, which makes it easier to recall. However, if you want to learn a lot of things at a time, then you must use your imagination and need to make associations between them. Usually, I forget about the place went to at once. So, to remember those places, I associate the famous landmarks with those places, which makes it easy to remember.

 3- Too Much Sugar Reduce Memory:

The brain is an essential part of the human organ and consumes more energy. Glucose is the primary source of it. Excess use of sugar affects your cognitive function and deficit memory. As per research, excess use of sugar in the diet can cause poor brain and reduced brain volume. According to a study, most people who use excessive amounts of sugary beverages like soda cause lower brain volumes and poorer memories as compared to those who consume less sugar. However, when you reduce sugar intake, you can protect your memory problems as well as other health problems.

 4- Physical Activity Boost Memory:

Regular physical activity (like walking, jogging, cycling, or swimming) is the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Physical activities not only improve cognitive function but also improve memory. It helps to increase the flow of blood to the body as well as increase the supply of oxygen to the brain. It can help you to keep your memory sharp and your thinking skills. Physical activity keeps your body healthy, keeps your mind clear and strong, and improves learning ability as well as memory.

Exercising the brain is one of the ways to boost memory, concentration, and focus, and keep your brain sharper, no matter what your age is. Physical activity helps keep your body fit, whereas mental activities help to keep your brain fit. The brain is active every time, even in sleep. The more you work out on your brain, the better you will have the ability to develop and remember things. Activities that challenge the brain and require the use of hands are an excellent way to exercise the mind. Enjoying a game of table tennis, musical instruments, etc. These activities exercise the brain by using hand-eye coordination, spatial-temporal reasoning, and creativity.

 6- Eat the Right Diet:

The foods you eat and don’t eat play an essential role in your life, as well as your memory. Eat right and at the right time. A healthy diet, however, contributes to a healthy brain. Eat fruits, leafy green vegetables, grains, Berries, broccoli, eggs, and fatty fish. Fatty fish offers a host of healthy nutrients. Fish are a particularly rich source of omega-3- fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids appear to be beneficial for brain health. Eating a healthy, right, and brain-boosting diet will be not only beneficial for the brain but also for the entire body.

 7- Sleep Well:

When you are sleep-deprived, your brain cannot operate at full capacity. As per research, sleep is necessary for memory consolidation. According to health experts, a minimum of 7 to 9 hours of sleep may improve short and long-term memory. Without proper sleep, you are not able to focus and learn new things. Sufficient sleep is a sign of optimal health and increased brain power.
